You will learn music theory on your instrument of choice (acoustic guitar, electric guitar or bass guitar) in a creative environment (music studio or in home via video chat). Our lessons best accomodate aspiring musicians and songwriters.
3 Phase Learning Plan
The NeoTheory Method contains three clear phases,
each phase is taught using the Book “Theory On The Fretboard“.
- Beginner: Foundational knowledge of intervals, chords, the numbers system, scales, rhythm, melody, basic composition and more!
- Intermediate: Use of extended Chords, note memorization techniques, modal theory, chord progressions,

- Advanced: Advanced note memorization techniques, modal interchange, advanced composition and chord progression studies, genre focused technique. This stage is highly customized for needs of the student.

Kenji Taylor is the lead instructor at NeoTheory. He has been a professional musician for over 10 years and has been teaching guitar and music theory for over 8 years. In that time, he developed his own method of teaching that has brought many of his students to their goals of playing in churches, clubs, and/or forming bands of their own.
